Tk Open Systems manages servers located at customer sites or at hosting services. We provide the service either remotely, or by on-site visits or a combination of both. The type of servers that we administer are usually Linux servers that perform e-commerce, email and website functions. We are familiar with all of the major Linux distributions.

As part of our system administration services we offer ongoing security audits at a low monthly fee. We receive alerts from bugtraq and other security lists and match these alerts against a list of installed software for each server that we audit. When we find an alert that matches, we evaluate the need for unpgrading the software and notify you of the risks involved. We can also perform automatic scans to verify open ports and to find weak passwords.

We can also perform code reviews of you application source code in order to find security flaws. We do this service for a government ministry and a commercial bank.

Tk Open Systems provides hosting services at Internet service providers in Israel and abroad. This includes purchase, rental or installation of a server or virtual server at the service provider, and remote management of the server or purchased services thereafter. Our hosting service fills the need for Internet presence support where most of the ISP's and server rental companies leave off. We manage you operating system, DNS, applications and backups. The conectivity providers are usually not set up to provide this service.

As part of our hosting services we sell Thawte digital certificates and we notarize Thawte Freemail digital certificates.
